We were contacted by the electricians to install a dish on this particular project. On carrying out an onsite survey we were introduced to the client, who asked if we could provide a quotation for all of their Audio and Visual requirements. The project was a new building consisting of a swimming pool, cinema room, gym and a new patio area. We worked closely with the client to tailor the project to his requirements and budget. Once agreed we provided the electricians with a detailed wiring schematic and cable schedule and supplied the relevant cable for them to install.
On completion of the first fix cabling we returned to site to carry out an inspection of the cabling, once the decorators had finished their works we carried out the second fix part of the project consisting of, supply and installation of TVs, 5.1 Surround sound system to the main TV room, 5 zone audio system, HD Matrix, Wi-Fi access points and control 4 automation.

Find out moreThis room has a 42” HD TV fed from a HD anywhere HDbase-t matrix, this provides pictures form the Sky Q, freesat and DVD player along with the in built freeview.Audio is provided via 4 in ceiling Polk V60 speakers powered by 2 channels from Control 4’s own 8Ch amplifier.The room is then controlled via the SR260 control 4 remote.
This stunning room has a TV mounted right at the end of the pool, again signals are fed from the matrix, Audio is provided via 4 Polk Atrium 6 weather proof speakers. A SR260 remote was provided for this room however it is best controlled from the Ipad within the main lounge so save the worry of anything falling in the pool.
This rooms focal point is the 75” Samsung QLED built into the custom made furniture, again signals are provided from the HD matrix, a full 5.1 surround sound system has been provided to this room, the speakers are from Q acoustics, the rear speakers are fitted onto floorstanders to sit right behind the sofa.The amplifier we have used to drive the speakers is the Yamaha RX A660.The subwoofer has been built into the wooden housing of the mini bar in the corner.
This area is provided with audio only, exposed areas are fitted with Polk Atrium 4 speakers, for the covered area we have again used Polk V60.
Originally all equipment was going to be housed in a 27U cabinet, however once we knew of the clients intentions to build the cabinet around the TV we stripped this out and installed all equipment within the right hand cupboard. A Draytek router was provided for comms along with pakedge network switches and ubiquiti Pro access points. 2 x Sonos connect were used as audio streamers along with EA3’s own audio outputs. Comms were then provided to the house to allow the second Sky Q mini box connection along with a strong reliable Wi-Fi platform again provided by Ubiquiti access points.
